Mousumi Chakraborty

Hello, I am Mousumi Chakraborty. Welcome to my personal website. I describe myself as a simple person, a dedicated teacher who idealises the proverb ‘ Living Simple Living and High Thinking’. Though I am not an orthodox religious type, I love to blend traditional authenticity with modernity but of course with a flavour of spirituality. I naturally align towards spirituality unconsciously. I am a proud Sanatani., and an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva. I believe in Vedic philosophy of life and would love to lead and follow it if I get proper guidance. I prefer to live a modest and humble life while emphasizing intellectual, moral and spiritual growth. I prioritise achieving meaningful goals in life like self realisation by the means of doing social work more than fulfilling materialistic desires.

I love to smile, to laugh and make others laugh. Though I seem to be a very serious kind of person, but I am witty by nature, you wouldn’t believe it unless you enter my magnetic field of friendship. I just want to introduce myself to you all and reveal some of my secrets honestly so that you may not feel lonely 🙂(I am also in the same boat).
I honestly see myself as a modern day minimalist embracing simple living and high thinking unless there is a buffet nearby. I love reading books with dedication which helps me to explore imaginary worlds.I also enjoy trekking, where I huff and puff my way up mountains just to feel like a champion when I finally sit down with snacks.I love to travel and collect memories and make sure that I never miss a local dessert. I also enjoy cooking and eating (mostly eating because someone has to do a taste test). And to balance it all I dedicate time to teach underprivileged children which I like to do most and which makes me humble every time I hear their honest and brutally funny questions.
In short, I keep it simple, I think deeply, travel widely, give selflessly, live humbly, laugh endlessly and eat generously. Life is too unpredictable to take it seriously!
